Smoothies by admin

Drinking a smoothie in the morning is a fantastic way to greet the day for three principal reasons:

1) No effort
When you wake up groggy and slightly bewildered, who can truly be bothered to chew? I know I can’t! Smoothies are hassle-free, all you have to do is swallow, your teeth can relax. 2) Filling
It is truly surprising just how filling smoothies are. Though, when mulled over, one realises that in drinking a smoothie they are on average eating about 5 pieces of fruit (or vegetable, depending on your preferences). Waking up to a smoothie that incorporates 1 banana, 2 apples, 2 kiwis and 1 pear means that your stomach will not rumble for food until the appropriate lunch hour.
3) Healthy
Of course, we all know though we like to forget, fruit is healthy. Purified fruit has all the benefits of solid fruit but is just yummier!

So what are you waiting for? After you buy yourself a r4 sdhc card, get a blender!

Perseverance! by admin

I've been getting really fit at the gym, I've lost the extra pounds I wanted to and now I want to work on specific parts of my body.

My arms are quite nicely built, I wouldn't mind building on them a bit more, but I really want to work on toning my abs. I don't want to have huge rippling muscles in any way, but I want to be nice and toned.

I've just downloaded a virtual personal trainer game thing onto my R4 so I'm going to see how that goes, it should be cheaper than an actual personal trainer!

I looked into the personal trainer programs at my gym and they were just so pricey. Instead, there's loads of fitness blogs and video tutorials online, I'm sure with some dedication I can get to where I want to be!

Ahhhhhhhhh! by admin

I've got a nice bit of order in my life finally, I get up, go to work, then go to the gym on my way home for 1-2 hours (exhaustion permitting) then come home, have dinner and relax. And I feel so much better for it!

I've got way fitter and feel great, and it's fantastic having some regularity and structure to my days. On the days I skip the gym I feel guilty and bored when I get home!

I must admit, I'm guilty of becoming a bit of a trendy gym-goer now. I was sick of all the Abercrombie-wearing beauties all around me probably thinking that I looked like a tramp, so I bought some decent mens clothes for the gym - some trousers, shorts and t-shirts to work out in.

They're just sport labels not posh Huntingdon or anything, but I do feel like I fit in a bit more now, sad isn't it?!

When did the gym become so trendy? by admin

Whenever I go to the gym, I go to work out, push myself, get all sweaty, shower and go home. But some, or most other people it seems go there for a whole other reason. To sashay around looking not only gorgeous most of the time, but super stylish and trendy. Most of them do actually work out, they're not all posers, but some do precious little actual physical activity.

I usually just wear plain boring tracksuit bottoms, that are frankly quite scruffy, and an old t-shirt I wouldn't wear out any more. But people these days seem to be buying stylish sport casual labels like Huntington & Co just to wear to the gym, it's crazy.

I know some people like to be trendy all the time, and the gym has often been an excuse for men to go around topless and women in sports bras to show off their toned physiques, but this trendy clothing lark is almost worse!

Missing by admin

Why does a USB stick always go missing? No matter if you are at work or at home they always seem to wonder off! I really need to put one on a necklace and keep it with me!

My flash memory stick has gone missing four times already this year. I let people borrow it and never see it again or I forget that it is plugged into the computer and then leave it there.

They can be quite expensive to replace, a good decent one starts at around £8 and when I am now buying my fifth one the money does mount up!
