We are running our night riding weekends again in Nov 08. Each weekend is run to the same format as our regular Quantocks weekend ,the only change being a slightly shorter Sat ride in the day allowing us to kit up and get out to do a 2 hour night ride just as it`s getting dark (this does make the night ride optional). We depart Bicknoller at dusk to make the climb up to the main ridge. It`s then lights on and straight into the first of 3 awesome sets of singletrack. We loop in Somerton, Sheppard's and Weacombe combe's making for a top evenings riding. For full details on what's included visit the Quantocks page. The price is £170 the same as our regular Quantocks weekends. light units will be available for hire free throughout this winter. We use night pro torches, SRP £120. The regular hire cost is £25 per weekend.
Liven up your riding next Autumn/ winter and try out one of our night riding weekends. Riding after dark in the Quantocks is awesome. The trails lend themselves to this amazing experience in the safe hands of Fast Tracks MTB. If you`ve never ridden at night before this is a great way to give it a try. High powered light units tunnel their way through the trails flickering light out into the darkness. Great in a group as you see your fellow riders illuminating the hills. We use a well proven route for this experience of which you will have ridden previously that day giving a total perspective how the riding takes on a whole new feel after dark. In 2005 we tested this experience and the more experienced even rode the chimney!! These weekends have been going from strength to strength.
